The conference is in hybrid format (face-to-face and online) and participation is free of charge, with registration at <a href=\"https:\/\/pulitzercenter.org\/climatelabor2023\">https:\/\/pulitzercenter.org\/climatelabor2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Climate change affects the working conditions of millions of people around the world and the conference \"Climate &amp; Labor: Bridging Different Worlds\" for 2023 aims to initiate an interdisciplinary discussion on the connection between climate change and labor rights.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will be held over two days, with hybrid programming (face-to-face and virtual), and will feature academics, journalists, students, and social movements and will look at key narratives and explore possible solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions will draw from the Pulitzer Center's most relevant stories on these issues and will feature topics such as the impact of climate change on people's health, food security, and livelihoods, especially for workers in climate hotspots around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Through interdisciplinary panels and discussions among participants, the event will provide a key lens to explore issues associated with the climate and labor connection, such as global power; labor rights and climate justice; climate change and health; oceans and coastal nations; and climate colonialism.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the Climate &amp; Work Conference and to register for the in-person or virtual program, visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/pulitzercenter.org\/climatelabor2023\">https:\/\/pulitzercenter.org\/climatelabor2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Pulitzer Center<\/strong><br \/>\nFounded in 2006.
